Our School Day
School starts for pupils at 8.30am and finishes at 3pm. We open doors at 8.20 to help the children to be in and ready for learning for the start of the day. Each day starts with 30 minutes Pastoral Time, designed to be a welcoming start to the day and an opportunity for staff and children to build positive relationships.

Tuesday – Mindfulness Activities (including physical activity)
Wednesday – Mindfulness Activities (including physical activity)
Thursday – Conversation Circle Time linked to Picture News resource (Oracy)
Friday – The Story Project

Break times - an opportunity for children to stretch their legs, play social games and get fresh air!

Children are expected to play out in most weathers, so coats and good shoes are a must!
Nursery Sessions - these are set, 3 hour sessions.
8:20-11:20- morning session
12:00-3:00- afternoon session
Compulsory time pupils spend in school Reception - Year 6 is 32.5 hours.
These hours do not include Breakfast Club or After-school Club.
